The Ronald Reagan High School Marching Band has been a prominent aspect of the band program since its first appearances in Bands of America contests where the band placed 3rd at San Antonio and 5th at Houston in only the 2nd year of the school's existence (2000). The marching band went on to win BOA Regionals in Houston (2001, 2006), Arlington (2003, 2004, 2005) and San Antonio (2004, 2005). The band was also a BOA Grand National finalist in 2002, 2003 and 2005 and was named the Class AAA champion after Semifinals in 2005. The Reagan Marching Band was awarded the Sudler Shield in 2006. Most recently, the marching band won Class 4A and Outstanding General Effect at the 2010 BOA Houston Regional, participated in the State Marching Band Contest and continues to be on the cutting edge of the marching arts.

The Reagan Band supports the Reagan football team at all football games. There will be a short rehearsal and meal before the game and the show will be performed at half time. Attendance at football games is a requirement and any absences need to be approved by a director prior to the game. All students ride back to Reagan on the buses.
Meals
Pre-ordered meals will be served in the cafeteria before games and some events. Ordering these meals is NOT mandatory, however, if your student chooses not to order any or all of the meals, they will need to have food brought to them or bring a sack dinner on those days. Students WILL NOT be allowed to eat at football games or events, nor will they have time to leave campus to eat before games.
Students ordering meals must pre-order and pre-pay by August 9th using the Meals form provided in the parent packet at the registration breakfast.
