What a week! What a season!
I have never been associated with a band that put on a better performance than our students did last night. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the entire stadium. There are not words to describe how proud I am of each and every student in the Reagan Band. To wake up before 5am every day for a week and continue to put on high energy, well executed performances is something most would not be capable of. This group MORE than handled that challenge. The students in the Reagan Band are truly special.
The Band this year was the BOA Conroe Regional Champion, UIL Area D Marching Contest Champion, BOA San Antonio Super Regional Finalist, UIL State Marching Contest Finalist, BOA Grand Nationals Finalist and was selected to perform in the 2018 Tournament of Roses Parade. WOW!!!
I can’t say this enough: THANK YOU to all of our absolutely INCREDIBLE parent volunteers. I would like to thank Shirley Williams in particular for overseeing our fantastic band parent organization. Without her, and without all of the parent volunteers, the Reagan Band would not be able to function.
