Chamber Music At Ronald Reagan High School is a growing way for students to perform and grow on their instruments throughout the year. Many students take an additional class period during the day that allows them to meet together to work on Chamber Music. Students at Reagan High School have been successful at the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition, as well as several independent Chamber music competitions around the country. Including the Houston Underground Saxophone Quartet Competition, the Coltman Chamber Music Competition, and the Margaret Tobin FAME Awards.
Students in Reagan Chamber groups have been invited to play at various events around the San Antonio Area. From private and corporate functions, to ribbon cutting ceremonies the Reagan Chamber groups give students the opportunity to showcase their hardwork in a meaningful performance experience.
The Ronald Reagan High School Saxophone Quartet has also been invited to perform at the 69th Annual Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. For more information on the Midwest Clinic and the Reagan Saxophone Quartet, click the link below.
